Educational actions on first aid for early childhood education teachers: a quasi-experimental study

ABSTRACT Objective: To assess the early childhood education teachers’ knowledge about first aid before and after participation in an educational action. Method: Quantitative research with a quasi-experimental pre- post-test design, carried out 45 teachers from four schools. For data collection, instrument questions regarding characterization of participants was used. Data were analyzed through statistical techniques, using Shapiro Wilk Wilcoxon tests. Results: There increase number correct answers to improvement grades, score by 5.17 points significant comparison sums. Conclusion: Carrying actions on increases subject nurses’ role as health educators is highlighted.
